The Club's own service for placing puppies and re-homing older dogs, as well as the Breeding Controller and other Committee members, are available to answer questions relating to the Basset Hound.
All litters of puppies born in Switzerland are inspected by the BHCS as to the manner in which they are kept and reared. The Swiss Kennel Club (SKG) official pedigree, which must be transferred to the new owner of each puppy, is the sole guarantee that the puppy is pure-bred.
